In times of old the alameda/piedras corridor was a lively night district filled with dance, jazz and soul. There are still a few legends to behold. American Legion has the city's best fried chicken and a jukebox reminiscent of such days. Ms. Estine is a chip of the ol' block. Having opened during the previous century-she prides herself in a skill years above the rest with a classic shave, scissor hands and a razor handled better than most men do. She is a true chuco legend in crossroads where stars meet mountains and speak volumes of what once was and will forever be.

I love Mrs. Estine Davis! She is great barber, historian, and a wise woman. She had been a this location for decades. When you enter her shop, you'll be greeted, hugged, and made to feel at home. Check her out when you need a haircut, shave, and colorful conversation. You'll love her!

Estine is an awesome lady! A very active El Pasoan, creates floats for the local parades each year.

I remember one time witnessing Estine work with her church to create a scholarship for a deserving young girl.

On top of all that, Estine has cut my hair, my sons and nephew.
