My mom went in for her appointment this afternoon and left over an hour later without being seen because she was told she needs a referral from her PCP. When asked why she wasn’t informed of this before the appointment date, she was told that it was the patient’s responsibility to have checked on that. As a senior citizen, getting reliable healthcare is hard enough with all the insurance issues that arise, and they’re making it even more difficult with situations like that. they do not respect your appointment time. typical wait is at least 4 hours. check your explanation of benefits because they will overcharge you and wont tell you that there is a credit, unless you bring your proof.

I wanted to share my first experience at Thurmond Eye Associates, and it was great ! I had a free lazik consultation and I was seen by Dr. Arciniega and he had the most wonderful customer service. I was impressed to know that there are still Doctors who care for their patients something not seen so often anymore. He gave me his honest professional opinion and the one best for my eyes. Thank you , happy customer and new patient
