When my mother passed I felt like I could not get through what was next. I felt like I could not make another decision or even be around family. I was exhausted by this time. I needed only to grieve. At Jaynes they made it possible for me to do just that. From the beginning, all the way through the burial, Greg and Jonathan walked me through every detail in preparing the service. Jaynes took care of my little brother in 2000, my mom in 2014, and my dad earlier this year (2026). They are a class act, willing to go above and beyond. I especially appreciate it that I have had a stroke and have trouble talking, but Greg was patient and heard me out.
Even Richard Wilbanks, the greatest teacher ever, used them when his wife Dottie passed. It was standing room only, and they did such a good job.

My family and I could not be more pleased and comforted by the way, James Memorial Chapel prepared my wife and the services provided to us for our church funeral. It could’ve been any better considering the circumstances thank you, Rick and staff.
