I have been a Great Clips customer for several years and I recently visited the Salon in Razor Ranch in Denton, Texas. I got a great hair cut from a lady named Rose. Just want to give her 5 stars for a job well done. I decided to let my hair grow out and she sculpted my short hair in a way that will allow it to grow and look good in the process. She also recommended a leave-in conditioner for me to use and it seems to work well on my hair. The shop was clean, well staffed and Rose definitely knows her stuff. Strongly recommend her and the entire Razor Ranch Great Clips team.
My daughter had the worst experience getting her hair cut. A woman who has very short hair was her "stylist". The lady combed her hair with a fine tooth comb and was ripping her hair. Unbeknownst to me who is sitting in the waiting area, my daughter was crying while the stylist was combing her hair because it hurt so bad. Stylist obviously didn't pay attention to how bad she was hurting my daughter. She then gave her a terrible haircut and had to re-cut it after I told her she did it wrong and acted annoyed that I asked her to fix it for me. I went in for a cut and style. My stylist tapered/framed the left side horribly. I didn’t notice at the time bc I had asked for certain curls (picture was provided). I paid an additional 35$ for the style to which didn’t come out anywhere near the picture at all!!! During the curling process I’m asking if these tight curls being done is the proper way and I’m told yes so I continue to go with. Not liking how they came out at all and not wanting to be double charged I do my best to ignore and let go. Still had to get ready for vacation.
