Rude, condescending doctor and nurse. Dilated without asking or even telling parent it was happening. We did not ask for a vision exam. We were there for an issue with the eyelid and they just did whatever they wanted without informed consent. Inappropriate. Not good with kids, not good with parents. It was one of the worst doctor's office experiences of my life.

After having a less than desirable experience at the office the last time, I opted to take my youngest daughter to my optometrist to have her evaluated. She told me my daughter's prescription was too strong and highly recommended vision therapy to help with her eyes turning in. After 2 correctional surgeries and countless doctors visits at this particular office not one time had vision therapy even been mentioned to me. I feel like these doctors should be ashamed of themselves for subjecting these kids to surgery and not recommending them go through vision therapy first. Dr. Packwood is the RUDEST doctor that I have ever spoken to in my entire life... and I work with doctors all over Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. It is literally jaw dropping. I called the office, it was closed and he was on call, so I called him on Friday at 3pm and before I could ask him my question or finish my sentence, he interrupts me and tells me how calling him is inappropriate. Well Dr. Packwood, that is what happens when your phone number is the one on call. Maybe if you had heard what I was going to ask it wouldn't have seemed so inappropriate.
