The instructor is extremely patient with newbies. I didn't feel uncomfortable even though he's the opposite sex. He is knowledgable and sweet. I can't wait to come back. 10/10 experience. FYI, get ready to sweat and workout!
Coaches and every one here are very welcoming.. Every one is supportive and happy.. A positive vibe from everyone.. One hall is for teaching martial arts other one is for cross fit and weightlifting.. One room is there for childrens to play. Coaches give good care about the form of each exercises and monitor the progress of each individuals.. I spend my one day watching the weightlifting session.. Very nice place..
My two daughters take lessons in the "samurai" class. There are essentials from many disiplines taught but also a massive emphases on self defense. With how kids struggle with attention, respect, following directions, and attitude its a wonderful experience to watch a class with 8 - 12 kids respectfully watching and learning. I'll be honest, the kids complain everytime I tell them its time to leave for martial arts... but I have yet to see them complain afterwards on the drive home. Sensai John does a great job.
