I originally went to aspen dental and they couldn’t get it right so I went to smart mouth dental and met the friendliest people who actually cared and they made my dentures perfectly the first time with care they made sure I was comfortable and satisfied.

I have been going to this location for years, ever since I moved from Colorado. The dentists and dental assistants have always been excellent—professional, caring, and they do a great job. Unfortunately, the front desk staff and the people who answer the phones are the reason this office has earned such a poor impression from me.
I had to miss one appointment because of a family emergency. When I called to reschedule, the person I spoke with was rude and told me I could not schedule another appointment because I had missed mine. Instead, I was told I had to call every single day to see if there was an opening. I understand that offices have cancellation policies, but there is no reason to treat a long-time patient with such poor customer service.
After that experience, I decided to find a new dentist. It’s disappointing because the dentists and assistants are wonderful, but the front office staff’s attitude has driven me away. Three of my family members also go to this office, and we will all be moving to my new dentist.

Smart Mouth in Denison is simply the best dental facility I have ever experienced. I’ve used dentists on 4 continents, and they are hands down the best! This includes every person that I have ever come across there, to include the receptionist, scheduler, dental aids, dental hygienist, and the Dr. I’d also like to point out the insurance claims process is streamlined and very knowledgeable. I knew what my costs were going to be beforehand. At all other facilities, it seemed like I was still “discovering” what my out of pocket costs were weeks/months later. A great place with great people!!!!

I'm a person that loves to smile but hated my front teeth. They were in need of major repair and plain hideous. I came in for an exam hoping to be seen and get fillings asap. They had an opening the next day and called me to schedule. The next day I left the office in LOVE with my smile again. I seriously feel brand new. Thank you!

I recently had dental work done a couple of months ago, and I honestly had such a great experience from start to finish. Everyone in the office, including the doctor, was incredibly welcoming and kind. The front desk staff greeted me warmly right away, which made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in.
The dental assistant was amazing and went out of her way to make sure I felt relaxed, even asking if there was a show I’d like to watch during the procedure. The doctor was professional, confident, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was numbed extremely well and didn’t feel a thing during the procedure.
Overall, the entire team made me feel cared for and comfortable throughout my visit. I truly appreciate the level of kindness and professionalism they showed, and I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for a great dental experience.

I booked an appointment with Smart Mouth Family Dental on April 9th for May 18th because that was the earliest availability they had. I waited well over a month for this appointment, arranged my work schedule around it, and used a PTO day from work that I cannot get back.
What makes this experience unacceptable is that after sending me multiple confirmation texts, reminders, and requiring patients to honor a strict 24–48 hour cancellation policy, the office called me the SAME MORNING of my appointment — less than three hours before I was supposed to arrive — to tell me they needed to cancel because the dental hygienist called in.
Let me be clear: if a patient cancels last minute, there is a fee and a lecture about respecting the office’s time. But when the office cancels at the last second after patients have already rearranged work schedules, lost income, used PTO, planned transportation, and confirmed multiple times, apparently that inconvenience means nothing.
Yes, they did offer another appointment that Wednesday at 9:00 AM, but that was during my working hours and was not realistic for my schedule. After already losing a PTO day because of THEIR cancellation, I was not willing to continue rearranging my life around the office’s staffing issue. I specifically explained that if I had to reschedule, it would need to be after 2:00 PM due to work obligations. At that point, the next available appointment I was offered was June 29th — essentially another month and a half away.
So after waiting over a month already, taking time off work, and confirming repeatedly, the solution offered was to start the entire process over again and wait nearly two more months.
That is not a minor inconvenience. That is a complete disregard for a patient’s time.
Things happen. Employees call in. Most reasonable people understand that. What frustrates me is the complete lack of contingency planning and the one-sided expectations placed on patients. If your office enforces cancellation policies on customers, there should be some level of accountability, accommodation, urgency, or priority when the office is the one canceling at the last minute.
Instead, I was treated like my lost time was simply my problem.
The repeated confirmation texts only make this experience worse because they demonstrate how seriously the office expects patients to commit to appointments while offering no comparable respect in return.
Extremely disappointing experience, and based on how this was handled, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Wonderful service by Dr. Adam’s and everyone was more than accommodating. I felt very little during my fillings and cap placement thanks to there great numbing. I would recommend this dentistry any day and will be returning myself! I haven’t been able to stop smiling!
