I have found my safe place to explore femininity, creative liberty, and community through dance! UDA Samba respects the roots of Brazilian samba while empowering their dancers. It’s hard to come by a dance studio that educates their students of the origins of a dance, which is integral to preserving history and appreciation. I love this community and cannot wait to learn more with them. Thank you Ernesto and Lidu for creating a beautiful samba family!

UDA Samba became my family very quickly. I was born in Brazil and I was looking for a place to express my roots. I found them. Not only, did I get to celebrate my culture but I became a part of a very loving, inspiring, and talented family. It is a pleasure to learn from Ernesto and Lidu, who bring amazing energy, and technique. They will push you to become a better dancer and person. Extremely grateful to have found this company
