The team at Lon Smith Roofing was incredibly professional and responsive from the initial sales process through the roof installation completion. Shannon, the person that did the estimate explained the pros and cons of the different classes of shingles and what the replacement included beyond just the shingles. She also walked me though what to expect during the installation. I chose to go with the Class 4 shingles, given the nature of weather in North Texas and the shingles ratings on wind and hail. Andrew walked me though the installation process and kept me up to date on the status once the team started. The roofers arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They also cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. There was no mess left behind, which I greatly appreciated. I couldn't be happier with the results and would highly recommend Lon Smith.
So many roofers to choose from, especially after a hail storm. I looked on the internet and found Lon Smith roofing. They had an excellent BBB rating and great reviews from customers. They operate in the DFW/FW area and I was hoping they would come to Gainesville, thankfully they did. Shortly after calling their office they sent a roof inspector out to examine the room. Jeremy was very thorough in his inspection and even found a hole in the roof from the hail, which he put on a temporary patch. After turning in the claim to Farmers Insurance the insurance adjuster came to access all the property damage. Jeremy met him here and went with him on the inspection, clarifying what would or would not be covered. Jeremy worked up the price for needed repairs and we agreed to have Lon Smith Roofing do the job. After a rain delay they showed up at around 7:30 am and finished at 5pm. The job included the house, detached 2 car garage and a small barn. Cleanup was very good and the crew did a great job. I would not hesitate to recommend Lon Smith Roofing and Jeremy.
