I have a fairly complex glasses prescription (very nearsighted so very thick lenses AND I also need a prism for my double vision - Thanks Covid 😑). Robert (owner of Kingsley Optical) is extremely knowledgeable not only about making the lenses for your glasses but also about which frames are going to work best with your prescription, face shape and eye position within the lenses. I have been wearing some glasses for the past year that I didn’t realize how poor of a fit they were. I went to see Robert at the recommendation of my parents (dad also got glasses from him recently) and I can’t believe how much better my new glasses fit and feel! They are so great that I asked him to make me some prescription sunglasses too! We actually just realized he is still in the area after losing touch after they moved from the MiCocina corner years ago. When I was a kid, his father, Bob, owned the store and when I lost my glasses in the ocean in Seaside, Bob fast tracked a new pair of glasses to us within a couple days so I could see the rest of our vacation! Customer service is still amazing and Robert spends lots of time to make sure you are happy with your glasses. Highly recommend!
