I had my right eye cataract surgery at Key Whitman Surgery Center (11442 N Central Expy #3, Dallas, TX 75243) with Dr. Lee 8/12/25 and will be returning next week for my left eye. Overall, the experience was quick, painless, and successful. I was scheduled for 8:00 AM, arrived at 7:45, and was already being prepped by 7:50. The actual procedure was over so fast that I was checked out and leaving by about 8:30. The staff was very kind, courteous, and professional. My only critique is that the process felt a little rushed, which was overwhelming at first since I didn’t fully know what to expect. However, I really appreciate how efficient they were and how smoothly everything went. Recovery so far has been excellent — no pain, much clearer vision, and colors look sharper than before. I’m so glad I decided to do this, and I feel much more confident going into my next surgery. If you’re in Dallas and considering cataract surgery, I would definitely recommend Key Whitman Surgery Center for their professionalism, efficiency, and great results. I have had all of my Pre-op, Post-op care at the Key Whitman Location in Mesquite, Tx with Dr. Robinson. I think he likes Dutch Bro's Coffee if you want to bring him some!
I had LASIK done here yesterday and had a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Hoelscher has been my doctor at KW for about a year now, and recommended me for LASIK. The exam to see if I was a good candidate was very thorough, and everyone I came in contact with was professional and friendly. I worked with Bryan to schedule the surgery, and he broke everything down for me as far as what all the surgery involves. He also gave me payment and financing options (currently offering 0% for 24 months through care credit!) Very informative. On surgery day, I met with Dr. Whitman and his team before I went back, and they were very reassuring when walking me through what to expect. During the surgery itself, Dr. Whitman calmly talked me through every step that was happening, and made me feel less anxious. I am currently seeing 20/20 and it’s only been one day! What a game changer to not have to depend on contacts and glasses anymore!! My only complaint is against myself, in that I can’t believe I waited so long to get this done. Highly recommend this place - everyone here is great, from the Patient Services team, technicians, billing team, doctors, and everyone in between. We have had nothing but great experiences here.
