I have been training under Steve's coaching every week for the past year and a half and I could not be more happy with the level of care and expertise he has provided. Steve has worked with me during different phases of my running journey. I am a beginner and overdid it at first. Steve's guidance and strength training routines not only restored my physical health, but also my confidence in continuing my running journey. As I have progressed, I have faced other injuries and challenges, and Steve is my first stop for advice and to plan next steps. Our most recent session was right before my very first in person race ever and, with his help, I PR'd and placed 6 out of 33 in my age group. More importantly, I had a lot of fun and my love for running continues to grow. No matter where you're at in your running journey, Steve is a terrific resource to help you progress to your next goal or recover safely and quickly so that you can get back at it at full strength.
Steve helped me diagnose and rehab a hamstring and tendon issue that I had been struggling with off and on for years. I had tried airrosti and other forms of therapy. They worked for a while but eventually the injury would act up again. Steve diagnosed the underlying issue on the first visit and modified the physical therapy exercises I was doing to ensure I was appropriately targeting the tendon and insertion point. Within just a few weeks I was running better and after 3 sessions with Steve I was able to get back to full strength. He continued to adjust my strength exercises as I progressed and attempted to work them into my regular routine by modifying some things I was already doing. His practical approach to this ensured that I kept up with the exercises. I highly recommend Steve.
