I have been waiting for over 45 days to schedule my appointment for my sleep study. I have had to reschedule my doctors appt twice waiting for them to schedule this appt. They are claiming they never received authorization from my insurance company. I have emailed Debbie the authorization I received twice. Let's see how the scheduling goes from here.
It's my fault because I did not read the reviews. This appointment was for my husband. We spoke with the doctor on May 4th and I was advised that the machines could be on back order but they would give us a call to let them know. In order to help I called my Insurance Company to see if I could find distributors so there would be no delay. I called the office to advise Wendy of what I found and she told me she would give us a call back to advise us if the information I provided was acceptable or not. Noone ever called us back. Now it'd may 10th. I asked to speak with their office manager (Debra) who was rude right off the bat. Extremely argumemtive and ghetto (and yes I am a black woman). She argued and yell the entire time I was on the phone and said nothing was there fault because I called a d gave them information and from that information they referred me out. No apologies for not following up for over a week even after advising them we had a deadline to get the sleep study done in. I felt like I was on the street getting yelled at by a total stranger rather than an office manager from a professional doctor's office. I finally asked to speak with her boss which is the owner name Trent. We were advised he will be in within an hour. I had to just hang up because Debra just wouldn't stop talking and yelling. I decided instead if waiting for Trent, the owner, to call I would go to the office and wait and decided after reading the reviews to get my husband's records so we could go somewhere else and get him the help he needs. I will be back to tell you how things went with Trent.
The front desk has been rude and the office is difficult to work with. They hang up the phone without saying good bye and all I want is for access to my records. Worst doctors experience I've ever had.
