Local Search Group

I got a call from Local Search Group (I didn't find out their real name until later) claiming to be from Google, to updated my Google My Business Listing. They said that because of the AI integration into Google, they have 21 trillion business to update and that for a one time fee they would update our listing. I didn't know until after I paid them the $499 and realized they were a scam that GMB listings are free and there is nothing to manage beyond that. Any other rankings on google are managed with Google directly. Then I saw they charged me another $5,000 and forged my signature on a contract that they claimed I signed when I confronted them. When I called them they said they have all the evidence and facts and the call recordings (which if they really have them, they did not notify me the call was being recorded which is not legal in California, where I live) They said if I post anything about them, they will post all the facts, but these are the facts. Their email also says they are a Google Authorized Business and just searching google will prove that's not true. That is also fraud. So many people online are saying they are a scam and that is 100% true. Do not make the mistake I made. Always hang up on anyone saying they are calling from Google.

this company is a scam and a joke spent several thousand dollars with with tried to cancel Christmas time and they charged me tried to cancel and get my money back for that month then the next month rolls around I called again they said they will call me for the accounts department they did not here we are again telling them they are refunding me two months worth and will only do last month what a joke
