This was a very relaxing, calming environment. I got a 50 minute hot stone massage and a gel pedicure. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. This was my first experience at a spa, and I would definitely go back. Lynda did my massage, and did a wonderful job. Katiana C. did my pedicure, and that was definitely one of the best pedicures I've had in a long time. I was able to listen to my audiobook during the pedicure and play on my phone. It was very nice.

Ok experience, quite a bit overpriced… I recieved the Calming Retreat for $220. Lynda was very nice and explained a lot of what was going to happen during the massage, which I liked. It was a long session (110 minutes) so she was good about making sure I was informed on what to expect. However, I unfortunately felt as though the massage was just meh, OK. I have had several massages from WH and from other various places and this was a bit lackluster for the price. It was probably the most expensive massage I’ve had, for the least satisfying experience. Ive had massages on cruise ships, in other countries, at the four seasons in Hawaii, and little hole in the wall parlors… I’ve had a great deal of variety. Don’t get me wrong, it was relaxing! However, for about it 80% of the massage, I felt as though it was more of just rubbing lotion on me and not really massaging anything. (Seriously) The pressure seemed lighter than your average Swedish massage. When I booked, I asked if it was deep pressure, they said yes you could have it with deep pressure. However this was the opposite, and I was never asked during the massage how the pressure was. I will say, she did great on my shoulder/back (for maybe 5/10 min). Overall, I was a bit disappointed with this choice of experience. I wish I would’ve spent half the price and just gotten a shoulder/neck massage instead of what was supposed to be ‘accupressure’ and full body. I’ve had numerous massages at WH, including facials, pedicures, etc… this was the biggest let down yet. Being 3 months postpartum I was hoping I would get a lot more relief, unfortunately this was not the case… I will say the atmosphere is relaxing and the decor is tasteful. The staff is very friendly— no issues there.

booked a 50-minute Swedish massage ($95) and a 50-minute Holistic Rejuvenation Pedicure ($55) for my birthday. I was very clear when booking—a full week in advance—that I am 4 weeks pregnant. When I arrived, I was given a robe and sandals and left waiting for about 10 minutes. Once the massage therapist finally came to get me and walked me to the room, she then told me she could not perform the massage because I’m in my first trimester. This was extremely disappointing and frustrating, especially since my doctor had already approved a light-to-medium massage and the spa had advance notice of my pregnancy. This should have been addressed before my appointment day, not after I was already there and changed. I then waited another 10 minutes for my pedicure. The technician herself was kind and informative, but the service did not live up to the price or the “spa” branding. For comparison, Ambiance Nail Salon offers a better overall spa experience at a lower cost. I checked out spending $75(before tip!) on the pedicure, and I didn’t even receive polish. There was still visible dirt under my nails and dead skin left behind, which is unacceptable at this price point. Unfortunately, I’ve since received a gift certificate to Woodspa as a pregnancy gift, but after this experience, I honestly don’t want to return. What was supposed to be a relaxing birthday treat ended up being stressful and disappointing.
