Smartstyle is a conveniently located hair salon at 6101 Saratoga Blvd in Corpus Christi TX. The salon offers a variety of services from consistent men’s haircuts and women’s haircuts to color and highlights at an affordable price. Their stylists are some of the best trained in the business and will listen and can recommend a haircut and professional hair care products to keep the style looking fresh. All those needing women’s, men’s, kid’s or haircuts will feel welcome. Customers report good job with haircuts for sons and daughters. Gentle and polite stylists take time with each cut, do not make customers wait much, and are sweet and professional. One stylist was excellent, very professional and personable, and apologized quickly when an uncalled for incident occurred between another employee and a customer. Highlights, cuts, bangs and new color receive happy reactions and reasonable price. Even a 3-year-old fighter felt less terrified when a gentle stylist talked during the haircut and invited a return visit. The salon receives many stars and customers say they will continue to go and recommend the service. Smartstyle provides consistent, fresh, affordable hair care for the whole family. They keep the style fresh.
Initially went in to have a root coverup and cut, but ended up changing the whole color of my hair and completely new highlights. Virginia is excellent at what she does and is very professional and personable with her customers. There was unfortunately an uncalled for incident that occurred between another employee and a customer while I was being worked on and Virginia quickly apologized for me having to see that. All in all, I am happy with my new do and will continue to go see Virginia.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I took my daughter to get highlights, cut and bangs. She is so happy we went. Virginia was professional, sweet and did such a great job and plus the price was reasonable. We won't be going anywhere else, but with her from now on. Thank you so much again, Virginia! My daughter loves her hair.
If I could give more stars, I would! My 3-year-old is a fighter when it comes to haircuts. When we would take him to his previous barber he would kick and scream and would be terrified just walking into the salon. You could tell that barber did not like cutting my son's hair (which is understandable), but I feel like he could have made it less obvious. I wanted to try somewhere different, so I went to SmartStyle in the Saratoga Walmart and, gratefully, found Kristine. She was so gentle and sweet to my son. He was still upset that he was getting a haircut, but it was not nearly as bad as it was with his previous barber. She took the time to talk to him during the haircut...read full review
