I have been going to Mary at Ironclad Bodywork for many years for regularly scheduled massages with my favorite being the 90 minute hot stone (pure bliss). A few months ago, Mary suggested to me that SIT (structural integration therapy) could be beneficial for my balance and stiffness issues caused by my Parkinson's disease. Since I trust and value Mary's knowledge and expertise, I agreed to go through the 12 sessions of SIT, and I am SO glad that I did!
Indeed, my posture and balance have both improved, and the constant lower back pain I have been experiencing for years while doing half marathons is now non-existent. Also, typically after a half marathon, my feet, ankles, and knees were so stiff that I could barely walk for a couple of days. After 12 sessions of SIT, I have not had these stiffness issues afterwards. My life has changed for the better with Mary's help through massage therapy and SIT. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone I meet!

So ya'll, my human co-therapist keeps talking about how great Ironclad is. I'm a firm believer in self-care and professional boundaries. She says they have all kinds of massage types and it all starts off with a diagram that you can use to pin point what parts of your body you would like to work on and what parts are off limits to touch ... this, as a cat, I appreciate! My human highly recommends Jessica, who apparently is some kind of a muscle magician! I also hear the whole place is peaceful from walking in the door to walking out. I want to sneak in & lounge on one those heated tables ... but my mom says my fur would give me away. So all you humans, I just want you to know this place is the cat's meow!
Excellent place to unwind and get some much needed bodywork.
The space is exceptionally clean and peaceful, and everyone on their team is professional and kind. I will definitely be back.
