I highly recommend physical therapy with Tulsi Desai at Active Body Active Life. She has helped me with several serious problems that I had long given up on. Tulsi is thorough in her clinical assessment. She understands anatomy and how the structural systems of the body work together. She explains everything clearly so that you can gain a broader way of thinking about your ailments. Tulsi assigned homework after each session and followed up via text to see if I had any questions or problems. She cares a lot and puts her heart into her work. I have seen two pelvic floor specialists prior to Tulsi, and both went straight to internal work and then stretches to do at home or dilator work. Neither were educational in their information, and I never learned what was happening or why. Tulsi is the first person to give me extensive knowledge on how the pelvic floor muscles work and how it can impact all areas of life. She is the first doctor who has actually went in full depth about my health history during her consultation, and the way she talks with you is evident that she truly cares.
