About Alamo Hospice
Alamo Hospice offers compassionate and professional care to patients and their families around the clock, seven days a week. As part of the Addus family of companies, it has over 40 years of experience in providing high-quality, cost-effective home care services that help people stay in their own homes. Families appreciate the caring staff who work to fulfill patients’ wishes, such as passing away peacefully at home. Many reviews highlight the staff’s kindness, professionalism, and willingness to answer questions and provide support at any time, even during late hours. The team is seen as a true team effort, working together to coordinate care and improve the patient’s quality of life. Families note that Alamo Hospice has made a significant difference, often providing more help than previous doctors and medical teams. They value the honest communication, tips, and insight offered by the staff, which makes managing loved ones’ care much easier. Some reviews mention minor concerns, like supplies being thin or other small issues, but overall, the experience is positive. The staff’s proactive approach and genuine compassion help patients feel comfortable and cared for during difficult times, making Alamo Hospice a trusted choice for end-of-life care.
We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you for the kind remembrance of my parents 70th wedding anniversary today. We have been so pleased with the services and compassion shown to our Mom in home hospice care. But helping us celebrate this milestone anniversary was, indeed, above and beyond. So appreciate the cake, flowers and dinner provided!
Our Mother’s wish was to pass at home. The caring, compassionate and professional staff assisted with her goal. Thank you to Heather RN, Wanda RN, Candi CNA, Renee SW and Chaplain Randy.
So far we are pleased with the service received from Alamo Hospice. Everyone has been very professional and caring.
They would have received 5 stars but the supplies (mainly chucks or bed pads) that they offer are so thin they wouldn't hold a teaspoon of water.
