Decided to buy a standby generator after hurricane Beryl last summer. Did my due diligence & found that the big 4 manufacturers (Generac, Koehler, Cummins, and Briggs/Stratton) are pretty much equal quality. I pretty quickly narrowed it down to Generac & Kohler based on their combined market share (almost all). After that, the decision comes down to picking a provider. I got a not-so-great vibe from our local Kohler provider, and a neighbor is friends with the owner of Action, so I decided to give them a shot, even though they’re based on the other side of Houston. Every single person I dealt with was friendly, competent, and professional. They took care of everything. The only negative I experienced was the time between my committing and job completion, which was significantly longer than initially estimated. Most likely due to unprecedented demand. Just finished activation today. Ready for a power outage.
