I had the honor of teaching Dr. Katie in middle school and have always had the utmost respect for her. She confirmed that our Boxer had hemangiosarcoma on his spleen and walked us through every step even showing us the tumor on the sonogram. She and her staff were extremely kind and patient with us even when we had to bring him in on Valentines day to put him down because he was suffering too much. They never once were irritated or mentioned a word to us. They were loving and so very patient with us as ever grieved and said our goodbyes.
