“I just took my son to his first eye appt and I was so pleased with the visit. Dr. Blase was super sweet and patient with my son (he’s a chatterbox), his wife ,despite other reviews, is very kind. My kids just came from school and were still hyper, but she was so patient with them. Jesse fit my son for glasses, and I have never been so surprised. I have never met another tech or anyone else that actually paid attention to if glasses are too wide/long on a persons face (I’ve worn glasses for about 13/14 years) he pointed those things out so we could avoid ill fitting glasses. “First class eye exam and surgery. Was sent to the Eye Associates of South Texas for a cataract consultation by my local eye doctor. Saw Dr. Kavanagh at the consultation who diagnosed me with a surgical cataract. At which point he explained my lens (IOL) options and recommended a Panoptix lens, two cataract surgeries later I can now see without glasses for driving and reading. I'm so pleased with my results and it was painless. I would recommend the Eye Associates of South Texas and Dr. Kavanagh to all my friends and family.“

“I have been a client here for several years. During that time, I have had about three problems with my eyes and Dr. Klufas has always been attentive, thorough, and comprehensive. This week ON DECEMBER 22ND!!! (when a lot of procrastinating patients try to get it to take advantage of benefits before they reset at year end!), I called with an urgent issue that ended up being a scratched cornea. VERY PAINFUL! Not only did he see me same day but he needed to see me in 24 hours but that meant he had to come in on the 24th since he saw he so late on the 22nd. He saw me on Christmas Eve morning. I have never seemed rushed in any of my dozen visits in the past five years and he has always taken care of me. Stop what you are doing and pick up the phone and snag an appointment with the best eye doctor in Texas. P.S. His staff is first class also and he doesn't gouge you or overcharge you.
