“Great people, I really respect and appreciate the owner. My dog (Charlie) got groomed today. When I got home I noticed Charlie right eye was red and puffy.

I immediately notified the business. This is when Lorena’s Dog Grooming shined and their remarkable character came to light.

I decided a vet visit was necessary and without hesitation, Lorena’s took full responsibility to ensured Charlie would receive any necessary treatment and went with me to the vet.

The vet did determine a blood vessel erupted in Charlie’s right eye. Although there was no direct evidence after the examination that it was caused by Lorena’s and could have been caused by stress. Lorena’s covered the bill and took responsibility without hesitation for the safety of Charlie.

“I took my dog to the low cost vaccination clinic at the La Porte Animal Shelter this past Saturday put on by Aces Veterinary Clinic. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. My dog has an injured back hip and Dr. Kessler recommended a prescription that was better than the one he was already on. We are going to try that out to see if it works. They put my mind at ease when it was time to leave her for a few hours. The staff has created a very comfortable and safe environment for pups. They have been through some sad times and good times through the years with my fur babies and I. Additionally, I have to used their grooming facility ever since it was opened and have always been very pleased with how my sweet dog looks. He is too!“

“I have a 5 year-old Shi Tzu with horrible anxiety. He's to the point where meds don't help. I do not trust him to go anywhere but Gigi's. I don't even trust him with family. They are so patient and kind. I travel often and they are happy to board him. I know he's in good hands.

I also have an 11 year old Toy Poodle. He's so chill but old and struggles with arthritis. They take their time with him.
