Absolutely amazing experience, I want everyone to do Ketamine therapy here! Nepenthe has been amazing to work with, you can tell they really care and are with you every step of the way. I've been for my initial IV ketamine appointment and honestly, I was really nervous but the team made me immediately feel comfortable, the atmosphere is SUPER cozy and comfortable couch recliner you sit in, I loved my experience here and can't wait to go back! I will be returning for the 6-8 sessions they recommend. Such a cool uplifting experience, I immediately felt a little lighter - go here!!!

The one star is for Katina, the NP who administered my ketamine infusion. She was the only positive of my experience. Beware, they only have one person to do infusions three days a week though. MJ, the scheduler, is very nice but extremely incompetent. I had my second infusion scheduled for 3/26 which had to be rescheduled to 3/31 because Katina was in the hospital. I received a confirmation email, text and voicemail confirming said appointment. I took an Uber there only to find the door locked and office closed. I called, and MJ answered and stated there were no appointments because Katina was still in the hospital and she thought someone had called me (nobody did). I then asked for a refund (they take your money prior to day of service) and also asked to be reimbursed for Uber costs. She said she would reach out to management but never did. I received my refund for service but not the rides. I contacted Christopher from management, he “looked into my complaints” and decided I was not eligible for Uber reimbursement. I also looked further into their website and realized I was never offered a therapy appointment with Austin Ketamine Clinic which they are supposed to set up. If you are struggling with your mental health and are looking for immediate relief, this may not be the place for you. I was told I needed to do 6 treatments in 4-6 weeks, that obviously can’t happen here. I hope Katina can find a better clinic to work for and hope she’s out of the hospital soon ❤️

Nepenthe Wellness and all those who work there are kind, caring, and understanding. It helped reset my brain and allowed me to take a step back from my negative thoughts and feelings. I highly recommend it, I just wish that I could have been able to afford more sessions with the coach. I think more sessions would have helped so much more. But ultimately, this is a safe and lovely place. They take precautions to ensure your health, safety, and comfort. If you’re apprehensive, ask questions and work with a therapist or coach if you can. It’s worth it.

i wanted to add that i am fairly certain that discussing even dates is in public is a violation of hippa laws on your end.i have left my previous message as is, but since you, the owner are looking to respond to this post without giving me the option to respond i’ll just edit my post for everyone to see :) if you look at your records you’ll see that i started with y’all looking at iv ketamine, but seeing as the way your office is run, i’m sure you have problems reading basic english. either that or y’all are so unorganized that you just couldn’t tell. again maybe if jenny and nicole were to be honest to you it would be different. i have been nice through this whole process up until our last phone call as it is wildly ridiculous to be wasting everyone’s time. again. you are also operating a while yes legal loop hole that allows you to advertise more insurance coverage than what you actually provide. it was never disclosed to me in a consultation that that is the case, which is crazy to me because y’all know exactly what you are doing. it is highly unethical and only wastes each others time. i was unable to find this information out, and it took our insurance representative to get that information out of y’all. no where on your website or during any of the 3, yes 3 consultation calls, is there any notice that y’all cannot guarantee whether the nurse you see would be in network or not on any given day of treatment. that is ABSOLUTELY something that needs to be noted as most people would simply drop y’all there as it is not any where near the norm and makes no sense to be advertising coverage. y’all may have a policy but i was never made aware of it, and no one at your buisness has done even a subpar job, and all i was met with was deflection and silence for being, rightfully frustrated and upset. your buisness deals with a demographic of people that have mental illness, even more so, treatment resistant mental illness. you should be in the buisness of helping people, not being a barrier to care by making every single step of the way harder. i don’t know why you expect anyone to be okay with your level of service (which might as well be nothing). you are only interested in the pursuit of as much money as possible, otherwise you would not be doing what you are with the insurance situation there.been dealing with nepenthe for over 4 weeks at this point. the front desk or whoever picks up the phone seems to have no clue about what treatments they do and what they look like. we have had 3 consultations with the same person and they did not even know the very basics and couldn’t answer 80% of our questions. if you’re gonna make us schedule a consultation call, please make sure the person we are speaking to is at least educated on how the treatment actually works. they’ve also completely dropped the ball when it comes to their insurance handling, pretty crazy that they can advertise that they take these insurances just to find out that none of your doctors work with our specific plan. i’ve never heard of having to give insurance permission to discuss out of network benefits as well. we were told we would be able to see some nurse in our plan when we were looking at a different option with nepenthe but now that we are trying to go for a covered treatment, suddenly none of their drs in our insurance are in our plan? if i were you i would pick a different clinic as they don’t seem to know what’s going on in the slightest.

I went through 6 IV Ketamine treatments at Nepenthe and it saved my life. I signed up for the treatments for anxiety not realizing that I was also depressed. Before my treatments all I did was sit in my messy house and watch TV all day. I was sleeping 12 or more hours a night. After my 3rd treatment I woke up the next day at 6AM. I work on cleaning my house and now I get out of my house and have made new friends. I cannot express how life changing this is. Thanks to Nicole and everyone at Nepenthe for your kindness and making sure that my treatments went well and were safe.

terrible. no one knows what is going on in that center at all. 4+ weeks, 3 almost 4 consultation calls with Jenny, who knows literally nothing about the treatment. so what's the point of the consultation if you can't answer any questions? what is the point of advertising that you take insurance with certain providers and then coming back saying you're out of network? go anywhere else but here, they are only concerned with taking your money.

After years of yo-yoing on and off of SSRIs and SNRIs from the VA, I needed to try something different. After a lot of research, I decided to try psych therapy. I landed at Nepenthe mainyl because of their reviews and proximity to my place.I cannot say enough great things about this place. I spent a few months going back and forth on whether or not to do this out of fear, but when i finally did decide, the team put me at ease and helped me every step of the way. The ladies who run this place (Nicole, Candice, and Denice) clearly cared about my journey. They always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and my OCD needs were met prior to my session starting. I cannot thank you all enough for the experience.
