Mike's Shoe Repair is a business known for its fast and friendly service. The owner is described as nice, professional, and personable. He was able to shine a pair of shoes within an hour, repair another pair in just 15 minutes, and even added treaded rubber soles to a different pair. Customers have appreciated his attention to detail and the quick turnaround, making it a place they plan to return to for their shoe needs.
The zipper seam on a suitcase was ripped on a recent flight. It was repaired very nicely and at a reasonable price at Mike’s. As a bonus, it was done while I waited. I am happy to find great, local businesses. Will definitely be taking in other items for repair.
My favorite salsa heel snapped in half and unfortunately this model is discontinued; went to multiple shops and was told no repair was possible. Mike was able to fix the shoes without costing double to the original price tag or taking 3 weeks for the repairs. Got them back in week and they feel like new❤️
When the sole cracked on the bottom of my favorite pair of shoes, I thought that I would have to part with them after many years of good use. Before throwing them out, I checked with Mike to see if he could salvage them. After being resoled, they look as good as the day that I bought them.
One other note, as I was dropping my shoes off, the customer ahead of me came in to ask if he could fix the heel on one of her shoes. He told that he couldn't, and gave her the reason. That let me know that he is going to be straight with you and won't promise something that he can't deliver.
