I am so happy I found Alamo Vet, and even happier that I took my time researching before taking my corgi anywhere else. For context, we used to live near Boerne and took our dogs to HERBST, which we loved. After moving, we really needed to find a home vet closer to us since the drive to HERBST became too far.
We recently went in for a check‑up, and the service at Alamo Vet was excellent from beginning to end. There was no long wait, and I truly felt that both the vet tech and Dr. Garza listened to every concern without rushing me. They answered all my questions and even took the time to review Achilles’ records. He has IVDD and has undergone surgeries and therapies, so I’m extremely cautious about who I trust with his care, especially because his back is so vulnerable.
Dr. Garza was amazing, and I honestly can’t rave about this clinic enough. I’m so grateful to have found a vet I feel confident and comfortable with. So happy with our experience!

Very friendly staff, took good care of my dog for her annual checkup. Edit: Visited again due to my dog itching. They provided several options to help her out, and did a great job explaining pros and cons for each.

We were very pleased with the services (spaying & chip placement) for our puppy, Gigi last week. Professional and very considerate, caring staff. Couldn't be happier with results. They have taken care of several of our pets & have always done a good job for them. Highly recommend their services.

The staff and professionalism of the office were exceptional. I needed a health certificate for my horse because I’m relocating to a different state. I was surprised that I had to pay $40 more because I wasn’t a regular client. Being in a military family we move a lot. My last health certificate was $20. This one cost me $140. I had no choice but to pay it. So it is what it is!
