I did not have a great experience with this shop. I cant say I had a bad experience either. I did not end up completing the transaction with them because while they werent dishonest, there could have been a lot more transparency. For starters, they tell you that you are approved (youre not completely approved) to pay the downpayment for the phone you want (they omit what you are actually approved for). Now while you may be approved, its conditional and the underwriters have the final say in the phone you recieve. In my case I was conditionally approved for a specific amount and I chose a phone within that criteria. But I as only actually approved for a phone that I didnt want, actually cost more per payment than the one I had paid the dp on. Not only was it more per payment each period the downpayment was less. But because I had already paid the higher downpayment I wouldnt receive the difference back so...I was expected to pay a higer downpayment than advertised plus higher payments each pay cycle because even though the phone I wanted was stil wtihin my approval range, so why? I never got an answer. All they could say was the underwriters will only approve this for this. The phone they approved me for was one year newer than the one I had with less memory. There was no logic in their approval system and I couldnt find reason to trade down ( in my opinion). I cancelled the transaction. Ultimately I did receive a refund in full for my whole downpayment without any hassle and within 24 hours of my cancellation request. They were very professional through the process, just overall I feel like there could have been a lot more transparency and clearer explanations.
Im not saying not to do business here, on the contrary, if you dont have issues with the process, its a great one but for the ones of us who have/do, actual answers to our questions would go a long way.
