The haircut was great and the barber has been a part of the community for a long time so he can point you in the right direction if you have questions. He seems to be a good, honest, hardworking man. I plan to make him my permanent barber while I live in the area.

This barber shop has everything a gentleman could ask for. Seriously, this guy does a good job. Period. I don't go to anyone else. His skills are unmatched and he is one of the only barbers I know that is skilled and confident enough to use a straight razor. Old school style of his shop is a throwback and his friendly attitude is always nice to see. You can't get much more from anywhere. His prices are simple and very affordable. I often tip him for his service simply for his kindness and his skill.

Moved to historic downtown Bryan months ago. Mr Gilbert has been my barber ever since. This man help me find a loft in downtown. His cuts are alway on the money and great conversation. He’s my friend now. Texas dudes are the nicest I’ve ever been around?
