I’ve been going to Uptown Rootz since Ashley opened up her business. Ashley is a wonderful soul! She is also so talented and will have you looking good while always building your confidence. I also really love Madi! She’s got my hair color exactly right with blending in my grays and not making me look old and frumpy. She gets it right every time, and she is also so sweet and has a very calming presence. Uptown Rootz is THE BEST IN BRENHAM!
I have never seen the level of quality, care, and skill that my cousin provides anywhere else. I live in Fort Worth and will drive all year long before I let anyone else touch my hair. As a biracial woman, it is incredibly hard to find someone you can fully trust with all hair types but I am completely comfortable with her cutting and caring for my hair and my children’s hair. Uptown Rootz is not only my go-to spot for hair for myself but also for my husband and both of my boys! All of the girls there go above and beyond with everything they do. I have curly, frizzy hair and Ashley knows exactly what to do to make it beautiful whether it’s cut, color, or a blowout! Madi does a fantastic job cutting my husband and both boy’s hair. The salon is so cute and the products they use on your hair they also have for sale which I love. Highly recommend!
