Jeanine is an amazing therapist and really helps and listens to you. I wish I’d have met her in my 20s before I tried to commit suicide and lost my left leg because of it. My mental health deteriorated after my mother’s death. She’s a beautiful person who knows exactly what she’s doing and how to pinpoint everything about what’s wrong with you. ♥️ I definitely recommend this place.
I hate dealerships. I always feel like they are trying to cheat me or add on extra fees. I have looked a lot, but haven't bought from a dealership in 20 years. I usually buy from individuals. So I stop here to look at a car for my wife. I was treated like a valued customer. I bought the car in Brownwood. They delivered it to us in Abilene. That's old fashioned customer service. I may buy from them again. I was really impressed. I wasn't buying a 60k truck, either. I bought a 2011 Avalon. They treated me like I was buying a new Cadillac. They were so awesome. Really made me feel special.
Great service I have cut my hair mostly on full moon weeks and yes my hair is healthy and long now. I get a wash and trim each time. Great price, wouldn't go anywhere else.Husband loves this place to. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I have had the pleasure and privilege of recommending his office to several other Veteran friends of mine over the last several months! I was like most people who would rather do most anything other than “going to the dentist” because of the stigma that it’s basically just unnecessary anxiety and pain that I’d prefer not to go through. I have had the privilege of using Double J several times while I worked for Clearly Petroleum in Breckenridge, Texas. The work they did for me included roustabout, dirt work and spill cleanups. Every time I called, they responded. The quality of work that Devin and James and all their employees provide is unmatched in my opinion. They always went above and beyond my expectations! I had a really great experience at Boomtown Barbershop with Alexis. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and at ease. She has a very friendly, easygoing personality that makes it comfortable right away, which meant a lot to me.
I have really thick hair, and I asked her to thin it out—she listened and did exactly what I wanted. The haircut turned out great. She also did a hot towel on my neck, which I wasn’t expecting and really appreciated. I had asked about eyebrow waxing, and while she doesn’t do it herself, she still took the time to trim them up, which was thoughtful.
The whole experience felt relaxed and natural. We had a great conversation while she worked, and nothing felt rushed. The shop itself has a really cool, lively, rustic Texas vibe, and you can tell she takes pride in what she’s building as a new owner.
I’d definitely recommend Alexis, especially if you’re someone who gets a little anxious about haircuts like I do. She makes it easy to communicate what you want and does her best to make you feel comfortable.
