My wife and I are in our late seventies, and what is left of our joints and muscles is a mess. Friends highly recommended the Bertram Healing Center, so off we went. Our friends were right. What we found is worthy of positive comments. Every person we've met, starting with the receptionist, who seems to be a Jack-of-All-Trades, has a noticeably and genuinely good attitude, something that is extremely important to us. And, they treat us as if we are friends, and that is certainly appreciated. We have very poor memories, but we believe Dr. Bruce treated my wife two or three years ago, and corrected whatever the issue was. (We'll find out during our next visit, if we remember.) The bottom-line is that if Dr. Bruce were not very good, he would not be very busy. We see Charyl for deep tissue massages, and walk out feeling so much better. We laid off for a while, but should not have. We consider the massages necessary. That's why we keep going back, but that is not all. Charyl is a an absolute delight, so much so that we love her. And we're friends, too. During our last visit she very excitedly showed us one of recent wedding pictures, and we genuinely responded in-kind. We are so happy for her. Her brand new husband had a big, genuine smile on his face, as if he'd just hit the jackpot. He did. Bertram Healing Center provides other services. We aren't familiar with those services, but we believe that one is essentially whole body healing. I do know that if those services weren't effective, at least for most, they would not be offered. Give them a try, and I believe you'll go back.
Y’all I love the personal training here! I have chronic back issues and have suffered with pain most of my adult life. I am still a very active person but found myself in need of some personal training to prep for an upcoming backpacking trip. I had 6 personal training session with Cassey to focus on hips/butt/thighs and agility. During the course of the training my pain vanished!!! No joke. I never thought that my chronic issues could be significantly improved with strength training. I’m so pleased and have continued with the training at home. I highly recommend her training for anyone in need!!!
We had 5 elderly sheep that had health problems, including blindness, and they needed to be euthanized . Dr. Kennedy and his assistant came to our house and compassionately let them go over the rainbow bridge. Dr. Kennedy was kind and gentle to them, and talked to the sheep to help them feel calm and unafraid as each one was put to sleep in a peaceful and merciful act of veterinary care. Dr. Kennedy is a gifted and loving vet, and he truly cares about all animals. Thank you Dr. Kennedy and your Assistant. Javier did another job at my house, cutting down multiple trees. He gave me a good estimate, could complete the job on the fly. Hauled everything away and left the areas clean. Did again a great job. Will call on Javier any time for a tree cutting or trimming job.
Anyone needing any car work done in central Texas I highly recommend going to CrossTech Automotive they treat you like family there! I had an appointment for an estimate to get my latch fixed and They fixed my latch on my camper shell in about 10 minutes and didn’t charge me a dime! Huge blessing to my day! Money is tight for just about everyone right now and I’ve used them for a few repairs in the past and they’ve always been honest - done great work and best pricing!
What a fantastic experience! We just happened in on this place - it wasn’t even on our radar! Amazing spirits and cocktails, amazing staff, amazing locals. This place just had the most friendly atmosphere with the highest quality service. I can’t recommend this enough. If you’re ever in the area, you MUST stop here!
Really great vet. Transparent pricing and friendly service. I recently changed vets because the pricing became more and more insane and marketing strategies were more about making money than serving my dogs. I wish Hwy 29 offered boarding but I definitely get why they don’t. My only recommendation is that they stop using those plug in air fresheners. They smell awful and give me a headache after. I understand what odors they are trying to cover but we all have pets so I think we have come to terms with their smells. ?
Lastly, the vet was very thorough and seemed to take a genuine interest in my dogs’ health. We will definitely be back.
