“I finally got my hair healthy again and grown out and was ready for a subtle change. I'm so happy I went to Alter! The atmosphere was chill, the staff had a great vibe together and the place had a retro feel to it.

Lauren was an absolute sweetheart. She took her time, was patient, and not pushy. I'm not much of a chatty person when I get my hair done but the light conversation we had was pleasant.

She was running a little behind with the client before me, but she never lost focused or rushed with them. That made me feel even better knowing that I should be in good hands.

“YOU NEED NIKKI!!!! I saw Nikki for a balayage/highlights, waxing and eyelash lift + tint. I swear this girl can do it all. I had an AMAZING experience. She actually made me feel comfortable with waxing even though I was so nervous that it would hurt ? she knows what she’s doing!! My lashes were PERFECT, and my hair came out sooo good! Don’t even get me started on the HEAD MASSAGE!! I would actually drive an hour just to let this girl wash my hair. Seriously, her hands are magical ✨ Not only is she a one stop shop for all your beauty needs, but her enchanting personality makes sitting in the salon for 8 hours feel more like 1 hour. I could really sit and chat with her all day and leave looking and feeling 20x better than I did when I came in! Overall, a wonderful experience with this provider and at this salon EVERY. TIME. “This was my first time at Shelley’s Salon and it was a great experience. I felt very taken care of and got my hair all fixed, I was just in for a basic blowout and it was so nice. Leila and I chatted and talked about what style I wanted and she offered to pamper me more with curls! My only recommendation for next time with her will be using a smaller size barrel for the curls so that they hold longer, they didn’t last much longer after I left the salon which doesn’t bother me this time since I didn’t go specifically for curls.“
