“I just love Bunmi. She helped me take my blonde than was either too orangey or too dark to a bright, whitish blonde. First of all, she is just a delight to talk to. Second, she just aims to please so if you change your mind, she doesn’t judge. If I want to try extensions, cool, if I want them out, cool. If I ask for cooler blonder, done, eh a little too cool now, we’ll change it up. Most importantly, my bleached blonde hair is not damaged anymore. When I came to her I had broken, short orangey blonde. Now my hair has grown so much and looks healthier while still being that blonde I love. Another thing I love about Bunmi is even if you come to her with trashed hair, she doesn’t shame you. She has an attitude of “we’ll get you in the right direction.” Thanks to Bunmi my hair is on the track to long and beautiful.“

They were super easy to work with and did an awesome job communicating in a timely manner any time I had any questions or changes leading up to the event day.The website portal they use for you to create your contact, make payments and download inspiration pictures is very user friendly (and they actually do look at all those inspiration shots).The day of the event both the makeup artist and hairstylist arrived on time and were very professional. They were super sweet and made your feel extremely comfortable. I am not a big makeup person and was really looking for a soft bridal glow and my makeup artist (Diane) was the sweetest and she definitely understood and delivered! “My mom and I came into Houston for a formal even and needed hair and make up. We booked Melrose for make up and Rhonda for hair. We had never been to the salon but heard great things about it. From the moment we stepped into the salon, we were greeted by name by the receptionist and made to feel comfortable. My mom is in a wheelchair and is self conscious about having people move for her. Melrose was very professional and had a customer move his chair over and made a clear path for my mom. It was done in a way that didn’t make my mom feel embarrassed and she was able to move freely within the salon. Melrose started on my mom’s makeup while Rhonda did my hair. I kept hearing people say “oh her makeup looks great!” and “she looks so pretty!” When I looked at my mom, she was stunning! Melrose did a beautiful job! She then did my makeup and I let her have free rein. I showed her my dress and she came up with a look. I was blown away! I don’t think I ever looked so pretty. Melrose was professional, fun, creative, and caring. I hope to need my makeup done by her again!Rhonda was fun! She made me laugh, listened to what I wanted, gave suggestions, and told me to trust the process- which I did. I was very happy with the way my hair looked for the evening and definitely recommend this salon!“
