I was skeptical bringing my pitbull to a new vet because of their negative stigma. Tiny was so excited meeting Dr. Raymer that he accidentally nipped her hand and I immediately wanted to cry. I thought they would judge him so I apologized and left. The next time I brought him in, Dr. Raymer remembered him and was so kind about the whole interaction. He was also reactive to other dogs and the front desk staff were so attentive to bring him back before I would even notice another dog was coming inside the building. Unfortunately, Tiny passed away from Lymphoma in October but the team at Chestnut Animal Hospital made his last few months wonderful. They were so sweet to him, gave him lots of treats and were very transparent about his treatments. The prices are very reasonable, they are extremely professional and their boarding is great. I would highly recommend bringing your babies here, they’re in great hands 🫶

Dr Raymer has helped me adjust and understand my dogs medical needs & has followed through in a timely manner filling online prescriptions. Chestnut Animal Hospital is a wonderful vet's office. Everyone - from the front desk staff, to the vet techs, to Dr. Raymer herself is very lovely and attentive. They take great care of my pets and always take the time to answer all my questions.

Love this place and how well they treat both you and your pup. Our Birdie was getting slow and lethargic. They suggested a thyroid test and she is back to hunting squirrels again! Thank you CAH!

This place is great. Dr/staff really care. Still a family type environment. Not the new corporate “model” that’s driven solely by profits, similar to what’s happening to medical offices that are bought up.
