I love this gym! The equipment is great, staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is super motivating. It’s definitely my go-to spot for workouts. My only small wish? I really wish they had a self-tan booth! That would seriously take this place to the next level. Fingers crossed it’s something they consider adding! ?✨

Istvan Burgyan (I apologize if the spelling is wrong) has served humanity for most of his life. During and after his service to his country, he has been training adults and youth to defend themselves and their families, always emphasizing respect and self discipline as an integral part of the curriculum. His leadership style is one of involvement and commitment. He will never ask his students to do anything he is not himself willing to do. I trained with Academy of Martial Arts for several years in my 30's. When I began I was soft and stiff, clumsy. I stopped training there because of a scheduling conflict that I just couldn't resolve, but I have never regretted the time I spent there. Sah Bom Nim (Istvan) is a stern instructor, who will not accept a half hearted effort. He will, however, tirelessly assist anyone who shows real effort to learn. He never tolerates disrespect, and shouldn't. If anyone has earned respect in this world, it is him. My older son also trained here. When we started, he had recently been diagnosed with severe ADHD, and I firmly believe that his time at AMA was integral in his success elsewhere in life. He studies engineering now. In summary: if you're looking to learn techniques to beat up random people, go somewhere else. If you want to begin the journey of self discovery and adversity that is martial arts, and really see what you're capable of, AMA might just be the place for you.
This was my first time coming in and from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and the genuine hospitality. Rosa was my stylist, she is the sweetest and most selfless person there is, she was very informative through the whole process from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Overdue on this review but I stopped by to get a cleanup before a family wedding last Christmas and took a chance with my 1st experience at a barbershop. The cut and attention to detail was perfect that I’ve been shopping different barbers in Houston to replicate the cut but no luck lol. Definitely will be back when I’m in town.

Came into town for a wedding from Austin.. Kim did my nails today and let me tell you! These are the best nails I’ve had in a long time! She took her time, asked questions, and listened to what I wanted for my nails! 10 out of 10 recomend and I will be stopping by any time I’m in the area

The hair color, shampoo, cut and style that I received at this salon was perfect and I was 100% satisfied. The stylist was ready for me when I arrived, she got the color, cut and style exactly right and the price was completely reasonable. There were no surprises included in the bill and the stylist did not push me to purchase additional services or products. I will definitely be back!

Always a joy every visit! From everyone in the front to the back, you are treated nicely. And the plus side, you are CUTE when you leave, no matter what services you get. Personally, I've had eyebrows sculpted, nails and pedicure, and I've been satisfied with all. Over 20 years experience, and I'm happy to have been apart of it at the beginning. Highly recommended!

We live miles from Bay City, where my elderly father lives. Bay City Electric & A/C has help him out of several occasions for simple things like putting in a new ceiling fan to working on his A/C unit. They come out quickly to aid the disabled vet, dependent on oxygen. I’m very grateful for their speedy attention for the elderly at a good price. I highly recommend this business.

Kevin did a fantastic and thorough job, both inside and outside our home. The service was definitely a step above our previous company... he was friendly, professional, and even took the time to explain the chemicals the last providers had left behind. We’ve already seen an immediate drop in the small bugs that used to find their way inside, and he gave us plenty of helpful tips to keep them away. We’d be happy to have Kevin handle our pest control every time.

Experience pays off. Took cat to another place told them didn't have a lot of cash after 2 tries to get rid of rash and here loss at 60$ each time they said we can give 2 shots at 150$ each so that would be in for 420$. They looked at my cat and gave me a medicine for 10$ cat is getting hair back and rash is almost completely gone. They have had good manners and results since the 70s
I take all of my animals here. The staff is caring and available if I have questions.
