The chiropractor was knowledgeable but he wasn't strong enough to adjust my back. I'm 6'2" 225. That size should be manageable. What really got to me was when he'd attempt an adjustment to my lower back and then try to convince me that there was any type of movement. A career in gaslighting at one of the news stations may have been a better career than chiropractic care. The rest of the staff seemed disinterested. The massages felt slightly above what my cat could do and that's only because she has claws, otherwise it's the cat all day long. Hands down, paws up. And of course this review wouldn't be complete without giving a shout out to the absolute rudest receptionist in all of Bastrop TX. including, but not limited to all law enforcement, hospitals, social service, detention facilities, you name it, that dude is the worst! Why two stars?? The chiropractor did offer some knowledge, it's just too bad he couldn't execute the game plan.
I would recommend this chiropractor office to anyone the staff is the best staff I have ever experienced in any office of professions. The place is clean, not a piece of paper out of place everyone is polite and appears to be happy and love their job.
What a wonderful Chiropractor Dr. Payne is. A little over a year ago I had lower back issues. After a number of visits, my back was as good as ever. A year later, my back started up again, could barely walk and today back on the golf course. Yes, he is very good but he must have an excellent support team. The three individuals who welcome you to the office, check your medical coverage and schedule you for your next appointment. Now to my favorites, the 3 women who love to inflict pain, on this guy's body. Actually, they are the ones who spend time rubbing out the tightness and muscle spasms you have. They are AWESOME! These ladies remembered me from a year ago and they surprised me on one of my visits with a birthday cake. If you need to see a chiropractor, this is definitely the office to visit.
