Showed up at 8:50a for our 9a appointment, immediately upon walking through the door I was immediately overstimulated. They were blasting music and had 2 TVs in their lobby which sounded like they were on full volume. It was packed and there were no seats for me to sit and fill out paper work. We waited for 2 hours for them to tell me my child wouldn’t be seen until noon, what was the point of scheduling the appointment at 9am??? They said they had sent confirmation before the appointment (which they did) but it said it would be 1-3 hours for the appointment itself, not 1-3 hours wait time on top of 1-3 hours for the procedure. When they took us to the back we also noticed the tv in the room we had was smashed. This already was the 4th red flag. This place seems insanely understaffed and overbooked. After the experience my child and I had I wouldn’t dare come back. The hygienist and reception were really nice that’s the only plus to the whole experience but it just seems poorly run, this place lacks communication & time management, I wasn’t aware that this appointment would be an all day event. We left before they could do any work, next time I’ll be sure to do my research before hand.
Edit to add: I made this initial review 3 months ago, I’ve tried giving sterling smiles a second chance & have tried calling numerous times to schedule an appointment just for them to tell me I’d get a call back but I never did. At this point I have already found a new dentist office I truly enjoy going to. It’s just disappointing after talking to one of the managers or owners? They apologized and explained their situation in a way that made me consider a second chance, instead I was ran in circles with this place. There is nothing they can do now that would make me change this review. 0/10

I am not the biggest fan of going to the dentist but I found sterling smiles of Azle and I’m so glad I did! Definitely changed my mind about going to the dentist. Every one is super friendly and goes above and beyond!
