I'm beyond satisfied with the Tune Up @ Anderson Mill. Lydia is an amazing barber and cosmetologist. She does a great job and is very pleasant. I highly recommend her. She has been my barber for about 2 years and is the reason I keep coming back. Few people have cut my hair in my lifetime. I find barbers/stylists I'm happy with and stick with them. I like being able to sit down and not have to explain how I want my hair cut or beard trimmed. This is how it is with Lydia. The salon's ambiance is comfortably masculine. If you desire, you can take advantage of complimentary alcoholic beverages and sodas at the bar. I became a Tune Up VIP member soon after patronizing the salon. It is well worth the money if you visit frequently. With the basic VIP membership, you receive unlimited haircuts, beard trims, eyebrow waxing, shoulder massages, and one manicure and pedicure per month. On average, I get a beard trim once a week, a haircut every two weeks, and a monthly manicure and pedicure. Depending on time, I get a few 15 minute shoulder massages a month. In total, these services would cost about twice the monthly VIP membership fee of $130. Of course, don't forget to tip at least 20% on the retail value of each service. Since frequenting Tune Up, I've received many compliments on the appearance of my hair and beard. Most importantly, I appreciate how I look.
