This gallery is awesome! They have great exhibitions that display all the best local artists as well as workshops to bring out everyone's inner artist. Parking can be a bit of an issue, so I recommend you take ride shares or travel by public transportation. Please make sure to stop by and say hi to all the artists who share a studio there as well.
Super cool combination of an art gallery, artists' working space, and community mosaic mural workshop. Home of J Muzacz - if you've seen a large-scale mosaic in East Austin, he was probably involved. Will surely return!
This is where you come to see Austin’s “more established” true “Art” artists. They have the most innovative and interesting shows which mix up and coming with more established Austin Artists. If you get a chance to go to a show opening: do it.
They specialize (as does much of the “Austin Art Scene”) in modern urban art. Support local art and local business.
