5 stars is not enough to rate Mr. Jones. He truly deserves 100 stars. He made my husband's complex situation look easy and there was nothing easy about our circumstances. This attorney represented us with confidence and compassion during our hearing and we are MHMR clients as well. He was our court appointed attorney for a revocation parole hearing and Mr. Jones was not numb to us at all even with us being court appointed. He made us feel welcomed and treated us with respect and kindness. He treated us as if we found him and hired him on our own. He always returned a call or text. He always read our emails and got back to us within a timely manner. I would highly recommend this attorney to anyone with a criminal or parole issue. When Gerry Morris says he stands for the underdog, that's an understatement... He shines for truth and goes above and beyond any expectations I would have even imagined. His team works wonders as a unit. Even when things have been settled, when I call I'm treated with love and open arms as they truly care for what's right. I've had more attorneys then one would imagine through my experience in life and there's no comparison to any of them after working with Gerry. Hopefully not needed again, as he is a criminal attorney; but if so, there's not anyone else in Texas by far I'd trust with seeking justice. The situation i was in had me researching all the top attorneys in Austin Texas. A lot of the top attorneys have ended up with superlawyer recognition for a year throughout their time practicing law and express it within their marketing. Gerry Morris has been recognized as a superlawyer consistently for the last 18 or so years, along with many other accomplishments that stand above the rest. I couldn't find anyone that had stood out as he has. I am happy to have had Richard as my attorney 5 years ago for a serious felony offense. It was not the outcome that I wanted but in the end gave me the best outcome that allows me to repair my mistakes and move forward. He did not have to help me, but situation like mine I'm glad he gave me a look and sided with me. I had to be persistent with him when he not communicating or convince him to ask judge permission for me to travel while I'm on pretrial supervision. I am no longer considered convicted in the state of Texas. I hope that Richard continues to represent me on the challenges I have now and figure out how I can protect myself so that the future does not bite me back.
