If I could give this place a negative review, I'd do it without hesitation. We used Rubio's for almost 10 years. The fee for filing a straight form tax return, NOTHING itemized, started at under $100 for the first few years. When we filed in 2017, the fee was $350. We didn't get any type of refund anticipation loan, nothing....just a regular return. We went to Heston Tax Services last year, got more back for our return, got our return back in the same amount of time and paid $120. Rubio's flies under the ruse of them being the only tax service business which caters to the Spanish speaking community, that's laughable. They're taking those people to the cleaners worse than anyone else. To sum it up, STAY AWAY FROM RUBIO'S!! They are the biggest scam in Austin!! Look around people! This is AUSTIN, TX...there are MANY options. Don't give away your hard earned money to these crooks!!
