My experience at St. David's was incredibly positive! I hope they give me plenty of characters to share it! Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful, from Nurse Amelia in the preparation room, to AJ that helped prep me, to the anesthesiologist nurse, to the nurses in the EP lab!! I was very impressed! Also, the nurse in the recovery room, I think her name was Mariella or something to that effect, she was Filipino, to the nurses who took care of me in my room afterwards, they were Olivia, Gabby, and Alejandra!!! Nurse Becky was also amazing from guiding me weeks before the procedure, while I was in the hospital and even post procedure. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and welcome!!! All of this was the icing on the cake to the real Rock Star in this story and that is Dr. Rodney Horton!!! He is my Hero! Actually, he is my Angel!!! He definitively fixed my atrial fibrillation and I cannot thank him enough!!! When I researched who the best Electrophysiologist was his name came up, and he did not disappoint!!! I knew going in that I was going to the best doctor, but I had not idea that his nurses and staff were equally good!!! I have to also mention the room they put me in, WOW!! What a room, and the FOOD!!! It was delicious!!! Everything about my experience was highly positive and satisfying!!! I cannot think of one thing, not one, that was negative or even a little negative. I highly recommend St. David's Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute to anyone who needs help with their Afib!! I apologize ahead of time If I left anyone else out of this review. Once again, thank you Dr. Horton and staff! I will forever be grateful to you!!!
