Southpaws is particularly known for its dedication to rescue dogs, discounting services for fostered dogs to encourage fostering and assist rescues in saving lives. They even post adoptable dogs on their website to help find them homes. Southpaws is a fantastic place for doggy daycare, offering plenty of playtime and fun brain-stimulating games, including water day. Our puppy Frankie has been going here for a few months. He is small, about 12 pounds. They keep the big and small dogs separate but they all get plenty of play time, lots of fun brain stimulating games, water day and more. We adore this place and have been taking Frankie 2-3 times a week since we started.
Not many dog trainers like Sonya in this world, yet alone original Austinite trainers. Follows Dr. Dunbar’s protocols and has changed my puppy’s life. I cannot recommend classes or daycare from her enough.
I first heard about Southpaws Playschool through a friend and decided to check out their free Monday night Puppy Parties—and I’m so glad I did.
From that first visit, I could see just how passionate Sonya and Tim (the amazing owners) are about dogs. The energy, the care, the attention to detail—it was all there. After seeing how much our pup enjoyed those Puppy Parties, enrolling in their Puppy Class and Daycare Program was a no-brainer.
