I absolutely love my chimes I can’t imagine life without your beautiful sound ! I have also bought as a gift 🎁 I hope this company stays around for a very long time ❤️
Five years ago, I purchased a Music of the Spheres Alto Quartal wind chime and have absolutely loved the sounds it produces within my courtyard. The purity and accuracy of pitch for these quality constructed chimes is what sets them apart from other brands. I decided to gift myself a Quartal Mezzo for Christmas and placed the order Dec 20th. Much to my delight the package was delivered on Dec 22th, despite warnings on the website that a Christmas delivery was not guaranteed. Firstly, there were imperceptible scratches, despite having ordered the 15% discounted chime with “cosmetic defects” and I heartily recommend this option for any person wanting to save a little cash. Secondly, having two (Quartal Alto and Quartal Mezzo) of these amazing chimes makes one desire to form an entire collection. I may never have the space to hang the Basso Profundo but look forward to adding a soprano and tenor to my porch.
The are long-lived wind chimes, worth the cost. I have always loved Music of the Spheres tuned wind chimes, especially the Pentatonic. We moved in March, and my husband finally got one of our 3 sets of chimes up. We have a Mezzo, Tenor, and Base in the Pentatonic scale. They are peaceful sounding, and everyone who here’s them always comments on their sound. It just occurred to me just how long we’ve actually owned these sets of chimes. The Mezzo we bought back in 2004 at the Ren Faire in Wisconsin. The Tenor was bought in 2006 at the same Ren Faire (if memory serves me correct) and the Bass we ordered around the same time. When you look at those dates, that means our chimes are 15 and 17 years old. We keep them out all year round, thought we do usually put them near a porch or under an eave so they get some protection. We’ve also taken care, as the instructions suggest, to tie them up, take the wind catcher off, or even take them down should severe weather approach. But to have these chimes still going after all of these years, shows they are definitely worth the money. They may seem expensive compared to most wind chimes out there, but considering how long they last, and the enjoyment from the tuning, they are definitely worth it.
