Came and got a haircut yesterday, gave instructions on how I wanted it done and Mary exceeded my expectations. Best haircut I’ve ever gotten. Half of the experience is the conversation and I could have stayed for much longer just to chat. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Mary's Salon any higher if you are looking for an independent establishment that has that old Austin feel. There aren't many places like this around anymore. It is truly a gem! Don't let the location scare you away as there is ample designated parking in the garage only a few steps away from the salon. Mary is there all the time and could not have a more amiable disposition. Support your local independent stylist and give Mary's Hair Studio a try. You can thank me later.
