Ms. Bali was able to taper and hem the 2 pants by comparing them to another slack. My husband says they fit perfect and very happy with how they turned out. She will be our go to for future alterations. She is priced reasonably and does exceptional work.“

This is something I could solve at home with a lint roller or by picking the lint off from around the dress with my fingers, but if I pay $23 to have an item cleaned, I want to know we can hang it up in our closet and not worry about it until the next event.Initial response at desk was to allow me to leave the article and pay again for it to be cleaned. I asked to leave a complaint and the manager came out and offered to get the lint off quickly without further charge, which he did.I’m happy with the service and will come back.“

“The Seamstress and her husband do absolutely wonderful work and are so accommodating. I needed a last minute repair on a particularly difficult item, a very high end leather skirt with a split seem. She made time for me as I explained to her it was a rush job and she worked some serious magic in 20 minutes or less. It was like the tear never happened. Looked brand new. And it only cost ~$13. “I've been a loyal Jack Brown (Lakeway) customer since 2017. It isn't the cheapest. The reason I'm so loyal is because of two things. 1: they've never misplaced or ruined any of my items, which is a bold statement after more than 6 years of frequent services.
2: Because of Tim. He's the heart and soul of the operation in Lakeway. He remembers us and all the other regulars. He takes time to remember names and preferences. I know he looks out for our things. He recognizes our car - and it's a black SUV - not exactly memorable - but he knows it's us and before we're even stopped he's already gathering our items so we can have a faster interaction. When other staff (usually someone new) have misplaced or mistagged our items, Tim has found them right away. He's given me great advice on alterations - which ones the staff can handle and which are best for bringing to the local tailor. He always has accurate estimates for time and cost. Tim has also gotten us to sign up for the app so we can get the best prices when discounts are available.

This is getting long so I'll just put it like this - it isn't unusual for us to spend $200-300 a month on cleaning and there are multiple choices in the area, most with a lower price. But I keep choosing Jack Brown in Lakeway because I trust Tim and I trust Jack Brown.“
