We sought out Kenny after rescuing a Pitty, Royce. We had previously worked with another trainer but had minimal success. We wanted to build a strong foundation with Royce as well as learn basic commands, heeling, crate training and coming when called. After the FIRST session, which we worked on crate training, our dog went into his crate on command and didn’t whine or bark once inside. This was a first!! We were ecstatic with the results and my dog continued to succeed with each new training command. Although he isn’t perfect, we are so so happy with the results. It takes a lot of work at home and it’s important to do the homework, but if you do, Kenny’s training techniques will work!
K9 Kenny saved us, and I am not being hyperbolic. Our 10 month-old rescue pup Radio was having some serious aggression issues, and it was affecting our relationship and feeling of safety/general happiness in our home. We found Kenny and I am SO GLAD WE DID! He really took the time to get to know Radio, and he showed us how to help him. We learned that our lil pup loves structure and that he struggles between commands. When he doesn't know what he should be doing, or when his routine is upended, he acts out. Kenny gave us the tools to set Radio up for success, and he chilled him out a little. :) He's a happy, intelligent pup who is learning how to be a very good boy via commands like Place, Heel, Crate, Down and Off. When we rescued our 1 year old dog from the shelter, we were told he had severe separation anxiety. We did not know that he also had a strong aversion to cars and almost all noises (trains, scooters, horns, etc) so walking him on leash and getting him to vet appointments/parks was a nightmare! We immediately looked up dog trainers and came across Kenny. Upon the initial evaluation, Kenny taught us more in 60 minutes than we learned from owning dogs the last 20 years! Over the course of our sessions, Kenny supplied us with all the right tools physically and mentally to help us connect with our dog and learn how to overcome his fearful and distracted behaviors. Now, we leave our dog at home alone for up to 6 hours, take him in the car with us everywhere, and walk him all around town comfortably. Whenever our family or friends see our dog, they are shocked at how well-behaved he is. Hands down, Kenny is the best. Always available, always attentive, and always supportive.
