The cutest, most unique vibes in a salon that has the insane talent to back up the 90s montage of a theme! I was personally in heaven with the thoughtful, artistic, boutique-like decor. Such a special salon, that also offers practical things like easy free parking, organized reception/appointment scheduling, family like yet professional atmosphere, legitimate talent and….snacks. Kaity is my hair stylist/artist and I cannot say enough fantastic things about my color/cut process and even more so, the results. I signed a lease agreement prior to stumbling upon these reviews. I was concerned to say the least, so i have been hesitant to leave a review until I had a full understanding of the issues mentioned. The staff are very attentive, punctual, and helpful. (office and maintenance staff both) I pay for two parking spots(very much brought to my attention during the property walk through) and have not had a single issue with either. No theft I have been aware of. I like the different style parking and think it adds to the apartment buildings personality. Great location. It is very convenient and fun in my opinion. I do not feel I was deceived in any way by staff or advertisement. I am shocked that so many people are upset about the location, as if they were hiding the "homeless" and other "unsightlies"...?? until you signed a lease. The new openpath property entry program is a little difficult given the high energy of riverside. Although staff seem to have been working very hard to implement it and assist during the transition. With one exception, I have net witnessed any issues involving pets. All pet owners seem to be responsible and respectful. The exception appears to have been what one may call a "bad" owner, not pet. The floor I live on is very clean and usually freshly scented, although I do not frequent other floors. I enjoy the fact it is a small community and most people make me feel welcome. In my opinion Brixton South Shore is a great place to live, Nearly exactly what I expected. The only exception being of a small group of negative nancys that forget what it is to be part of a constructive community, and surely cause a large number of the voiced complaints. We do all live under the same roof after all! Five stars!
