Inspired Movement is such a special place! The teachers are excellent—knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in helping every student grow. What really stands out is how welcoming and non-intimidating their system and classes are. Everything is so well-structured and digestible, making it easy to jump in no matter your level. You always feel encouraged, never overwhelmed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an uplifting, well-organized, and inspiring movement experience!
Best studio to learn how to dance salsa and bachata in Austin!!
I really like how they have a belt system for their class progression, it motivates you to keep learning! Each class has a curriculum of skills to master.
Their most popular day is Tuesday, when they offer both salsa and bachata classes for all levels. They also their dance social at 10pm that day.
Shoutout to the instructors, especially Hannah, Michael, Morgan, Joseph, Kaitlyn, Marcus, and Favian - they are all fabulous! I would also highly recommend taking private lessons with them to accelerate your learning and get personalized feedback.
I'm having a blast going to this studio. Like most of the reviews here say, the environment is very energizing. I like the belt system, because it gives you tangible ways to improve. The private lessons I've taken with Marcus and Favian have also been top notch!
