I found exactly what I was looking for with Tina W @ Bird’s Barbershop. I am older and for the last year I have been growing my hair out at the request of my female partner, without really knowing where I was going with it and without a regular stylist. I asked around and Tina W at the Bird’s Barbershop on W Williams Cannon came highly recommended as an experienced stylist who was great with long hair. I made an appointment and came in today with only the vaguest idea of where I wanted to go with my hair. We talked about some alternatives and looked at a couple photos and agreed on a solution. Ginger is great, all-around. She remembers how I like my hair cut, she's professional, easy to talk with and I can tell she enjoys her job. Honestly, I've enjoyed the best hair cuts from her over the last 8 months than I've ever had (as a 57 yr old male). She is an asset to Birds!

Madeline understands (not only) curly hair very well. I have thin wavy hair that has some difficulties getting volume underneath but Madeline has probably given me my favorite haircuts ever. She also cuts my boyfriend’s short thick hair very well. Apart from that she is an absolute delight to be around, she’s very careful with her customers and time just flies by. If only we’d live closer, for now a haircut here and there will have to remain a special occasion for us
